What a beautiful little site, only £18 a night including 16amp hook up. Very peaceful and only a short drive into the centre of York.
We accessed the site from the North A64 , turned into Common Lane then turned left into Northgate Lane. Road was OK and wide enough with a 2.5M caravan.
One of the best sites we've stayed on for peace, tranquility and space. Felt like we were parked in the private garden of a stately home . Would definitely recommend.

We had a nice stay here,it's in a perfect location for visiting York being only 4 miles from the centre. I just feel as its up for sale it's a little bit neglected. We had problems with our electric as the main plug was loose and faulty so we had to move plugs, thankfully owner did have a spare lead as ours wasn't long enough, do feel they need a couple more electric points as they are quite away from some pitches. Pond needs some attention and seating area. Also alot of comings and goings from vans, pickup trucks etc opposite grounds and we had alot of noise from diggers and patio stones being cut causing alot of dust on our last day when we were hoping to just enjoy the sun and birds.
Afraid I won't be returning.

What a glorious retreat... CMHC...
A tranquil peaceful wknd away, while being such a beautiful place to stay...
Six miles away from York Centre..
For inn 7 minutes away by car...
Aldi.. 2miles down the road... bbq & wine..
Well priced electric hook up.. use your own facilities.....
Don't move just enjoy the stay...

Quiet location, no frills, and easy for york park and ride. Mobile sigal was poor, and no wi fi to compensate. I would definitely use this campsite again though.

Had a couple of very good weekends at this beautiful site near to York. Easy to get to it. Secure coded gates. Very flat an well spaced pitches an well kept lawn. Electric hook ups. Owners are very helpful an welcoming. Will be back in a few weeks time.

Absolutely beautiful little cl, quiet peaceful and lovely grounds. Pleasant and cheerful owners, just what we needed for our first outing in ages in the caravan. Highly highly recommended. Thank you ?

Always great here, quiet and friendly site. Grass kept short n enjoy watching the robins. Nice walk to pub in village, locals friendly. Short drive into York for all events.
