Best class I’ve taken in a while. I was traveling and dropped in for a level 4+ class. The instructor, Lauren, made the class dance-based, so we were moving to music for the entire class. She directed the class expertly, responding to our questions with thoughtful demonstrations and guiding us to play with timing and style once we were comfortable with the choreography

Stunning second floor studio with windows and lights and amazing instructors. If you are looking for a fun, welcoming and clean space highly recommend you take classes here and/or rent for practice. Great for beginners up to advanced as they have a variety of levels and types of classes. Been a student here for a few years and it is still my favorite studio!

One of the best places to learn how to do pole as a beginner and especially as a non dancer. Longer class times with a proper warm up in the learning series and opportunities to practice with rental hours and some classes. Highly recommend!

This space is perfect! I'm grateful the owner, Amanda, decided to open her own studio. She is not only an amazing dancer but she definitely has an eye for the aesthetic, as you will quickly realize when you enter this magical space. The blowing curtain, white walls, wood ceiling, and new colored LED lights throughout the space makes POL the perfect place to film, whether for personal pole videos or in my case, professional ones! I love the space & the people who dance here, and I'm excited to see it grow (especially in the future once COVID winds down - fingers crossed!).

And from a videographer standpoint, the lighting is incredible all throughout the day, the bathroom is kept clean, the entry is easy and feels safe, and Amanda is very easy to communicate with and happy to answer your questions! Thanks Amanda!

This freshly opened studio is a gem and oh so beautiful and cozy. The floors are smooth and only a little bit slippery, enough to do pirouettes easily, but not too much to be sliding around... The natural light with white curtains makes it fresh inside. There are six poles, four chrome, and two stainless steel.

The owner, and my teacher, Amanda, is absolutely awesome. I have followed her from the first studio to another studio, and now to "her studio." She is a fantastic dancer and teacher. Since the beginning, I have aspired to be and to move like her. It will (most probably) never happen, but I have gained a tremendous amount of grace and skills since I started my pole journey, almost four years ago.

I only go to the "progressive" classes due to scheduling conflicts. Still, there are many different classes of many different levels on the schedule, to satisfy any dancer.

As 54 years old, pole dancing has been the greatest challenge of my athletic life, for many different reasons, but I do not ever regret that first day when I stepped into the pole studio. I was lucky to get Amanda as my first teacher. It truly has changed my life.

Where do I begin! The owner, Amanda, teaches classes that are a good enough reason alone to come check out POL. I have been Amanda's student for about 2 years and have literally followed her from studio to studio. I am so excited that she now has her own space! I truly appreciate how patient and supportive of she is. She gives great instructions on how to master tricks in a safe way, that are also easy to understand. I have been able to accomplish so much more than I ever thought I could thanks to Amanda! I am currently enrolled in the studio's series class, which allows you to dance with the same group of students each month. I feel like this builds such a strong community within the studio, because you really get to know the other students and can form great connections. You never feel alone in a class! The flo classes are great too because you get to try out different styles of pole dancing. My favorite has to be the tricks and combos class because you get to focus on 1-2 tricks each week that you may want to learn or improve on.

And then, there is the space itself. POL is such a beautiful studio at a great location that is pretty central to all parts of LA. It has a charming and airy feel, with smooth floors that are easy to dance on and amazing lighting. I really like how it is located on the second floor as well, so it feels a bit more private as compared to other studios I have been to.

I seriously cannot recommend this studio enough! If you are considering trying out pole for the first time or looking to find a new studio to continue your pole journey, POL is the place to go.

The long and short of it is that PŌL gets 5/5 from me and I wholeheartedly (and do often) recommend it to anyone who is curious about trying pole dancing or looking for a new studio to take classes at.

Before I started training with the owner, Amanda, I had been to a few pole classes, but never really got hooked or felt comfortable in the class environment. I was quite wary of classes that seemed too light on instruction or too informal. Pole classes are expensive, and the last thing I wanted to do was pay $30-40 to sit idly for an hour while instructors socialized with their more familiar students.

Amanda's style of movement and instruction was different from anything else I had experienced. She was and remains attentive to every student, knowledgeable enough about movement mechanics to make adjustments for all levels, and thoughtful about creating progressive class structures that always feel both challenging and fun.

In the years I've been pole dancing, I've been to a lot of different classes, but Amanda's signature 90-minute PŌL class remains at the core of my pole practice. There are certainly incredible pole dancers you can learn tricks from in LA, but what's special about Amanda is that she teaches you how to turn pole dancing into art and deep personal expression, all while focusing on establishing strong foundations and proper technique.

I've recommended countless friends to attend her intros, and they've all returned saying that it was challenging, but accessible, and an incredibly warm and welcoming environment to explore something new in.

If you're looking to try something different in your fitness routine or get more in touch with your body in a safe and nurturing environment, look no further--PŌL will be your new home.

Looking forward to seeing you in class!

I LOVE PŌL! An amazing studio! It feels so calming and homey, I can genuinely express and move freely here. Amanda is an amazing instructor, and I love the building variation of offered classes - there truly is something for everyone! The people I’ve taken classes with have become some of my best friends, the energy here grows community and good company. I can’t say enough great things!
