I want to give Colleen a shout out for being extremely thorough and having withitness to assist with a few traffic fines I needed to get squared away. I have been here twice. First time I was the only person in the joint and it was QUICK. This past time it was a full house and I was there over 1.5 hours. The service agents both times have been very polite and have taken care of my issues. Divorce paperwork and traffic citation.

There is a wait depending on what the people before you are bringing to the agents. There is a back overflow room but it was a little uncomfortable because they had the heat on lol (It is the middle of July).

The orange county clerk phone service and website are very frustrating to use however. They are the reason I had to drive to a physical location to pay a fine. When you call, you can not speak to an actual person to pay the traffic ticket. Even though it says you can on their website. The phone menus are very long and the man voicing it had a condescending tone to his voice. Like "why are you calling when you can just goto the website jeez!". I could not pay my fine on the website due to a technical issue on their end.

I have been here multiple times for passports without an appointment, and as long as you have everything filled out without any mistakes and all documents, you will be out pretty quickly.

I’m really only leaving a review because the other reviews scared me. As a person with a lot of social, anxiety and new places, negative reviews can be very deterring. This was my first time in the clerk office and both security panel in the front were extremely accommodating. They were very patient with me and not knowing what to do. I waited a very short time for my appointment that I was 20 minutes early for so I ended up leaving before my appointment time even started. My window person was organized patient and quick. As long as you come ready with all of your information for your passport, I think that this was a painless visit. Thank you!

These people are extremely slow. I've been here over an hour and still have no idea how much longer it's going to be. They won't even let you make an appointment for matters but others are able to. I have to wait for all the people with appointments to be called. Please make it make sense!
