Waited 2h in Q to get in an event where the venue can only withhold >200 people… and we weren’t let in…
The security/service was ignorant towards anyone else besides who bought “special ticket”(limited amount).

So if you ever plan to come to Copenhagen and visit Hangaren: don’t go there!
You’ll waste your time waiting in q if you have not gotten a ticket and most likely you’ll will not to get inside as the “special” dj is playing there.

Great place! If youre on the lookout for some techno in Copenhagen this is great. Bit far from the centre though. Entrance fee also not too funny, but generally there's good djs and the venue is nice. The music could be a bit louder in my opinion. Simple solution dance close to the audio system.

We booked a pre sale ticket for an event and arrived there facing a club with no electricity. We were asked to leave with a promise to be refunded. 3 months later there is still no refund and they ignore our messages.

I went there for my birthday, we had bought a pre-sale ticket but when we got there there was a power outage and the club was shut down and we were told to go home. We tried to contact them to get reimbursed, and we were told that they we would get our money back. But nothing happened. I am very disappointed as I really liked that place, but it turns out they’re not as people oriented as they pretend.. 🙁

Definitely a no-go!
I went twice to this club.
The first time, I had to wait one hour to get my jacket back from the wardrobe. They simply had no idea how they had sorted people’s stuff and I found my jacket under lots of other’s on the floor. What a mess!
The second time (July 2024), there was no electricity on the island, so we could not enter the club (no light, no music). The club never answered my repeated messages to be refunded. I am still waiting for it.
This place treats its customers bad, it is shameful…

I really enjoyed my time at hangaren! It’s a safe space, I love the no phone policy, and the music (I was at a techno event) was great. They also check on people if they feel like you are not okay, I appreciate that.
The locker was 40 kr and drinks are mostly 75kr (+ 5kr pant).
I will be coming back!!
Only downside: they need to improve the ventilation, it got very hot inside. I didn’t really mind but needed multiple dance breaks.

Leuke plek om uit te gaan. Geluidskwaliteit vond ik overigens wel slecht. Het is redelijk ver fietsen en het deurbeleid is niet goed. Lange wachtrijen en veel vriendjespolitiek.
