Everyone who goes to this gym is family. From day one Chad welcomed me in just the same. He made some accommodations and was flexible about billing dates. The classes and pricing is on point. Whatever your fitness goals are, Chad will get you right. I signed up in January and usually make three classes a week. It’s a good mix of cardio and high intensity with a nice mix of boxing techniques. Chad knows his stuff and will show you how to box. He also knows how to push you! His classes are no joke and he doesn’t play around. So if you want a no nonsense workout and want to get your mind and body right, Gulf Gate is the place.

Great boxing facility. Tons of punching bags of all sorts and open 24/7. Truly an option for whatever you are looking for. Sparring, 24/7 access, or group classes. Chad the owner is a great guy. Definitely my ‘go-to’ spot to get a workout in Sarasota.

My family and I were down in the Venice area for vacation. Our son has a boxing tournament coming up so we looked at gyms where he could get some work in and Chad was the first to respond very promptly. He invited us in and the vibe there was amazing. Chad was very accommodating and pulled out all the stops for our son. So I highly recommend if you're visiting or live here you definitely need to check out Gulf Gate Boxing Gym! This Gym is a special place, every time you walk in you are greeted with smiles. The owner of the gym Chad Sulrich, is a great guy that has moved around and you can tell he just WANTS to make people better. He does not HAVE to be there but he is a people person. The equipment is beautiful and the facility is awesome. But if you want to meet great people, in a great area, and make yourself better you go train for Chad.
