Love, Love, Love this place--- the best escape from work and stress... especially the Casino (Salsa) Rueda!!! Come and join the fun every Saturday at 3:30pm-- just for an hour, try it!! I'm sure you'll love it!! But, truly, whatever class you take, I'm also sure you'd feel like you are in 'another world'. 🙂 For me, being at By Your Side is ... where my 'other life' begins. 🙂 Whatever level you are in dancing (or even no level at all), you will find this studio very welcoming. Their skilled instructors (ALL award-winning personalities in their own right), personalized approach, and vibrant nurturing yet relaxed culture make them a standout choice for anyone seeking to prepare for a special occasion, improve technique, or simply just have fun. Their teaching style truly fosters an environment where one can achieve their own personal dance aspirations, whatever they may be. They offer a wide range of classes from social to competitive levels, themed dance nights, and opportunities for performance. If only I could attend all of them, I would!!

Amy gave us fun lessons where we learned the waltz for our wedding. She provided exciting personal choreography for our song. We had a great time practicing and learning the steps. The studio is close by and has multiple rooms for various lessons. Can't wait to try some group lessons and dance more!

I love this studio!! I’m in my mid-forties and I’ve never danced in my life. I was very nervous about starting a new class and thought I might be with students that had a dance background and I’d be in over my head. I started taking tap dancing there and I am loving it. The instructor is so encouraging and positive and very sweet. The other student are so friendly- we’re all at different levels and that doesn’t matter. There are adults of all ages in class, and I can keep up and I don’t feel out of place.
I absolutely love the experience I’m having there and I look forward to every class. I’m also getting a great workout while I’m having fun.

I love Salsa Rueda classes at By Your Side! Great vibe, venue and people! This is one of very few places in LA where you can learn and dance Rueda. I’d recommend to anyone!

I absolutely love the salsa classes at By Your Side! The teachers Deborah, Laura and Guillermo are friendly, fun, and patient! My favorite class is level 2 salsa on Sundays with Deborah. She comes up with some very interesting patterns and it's a challenge but I love that there's always something new to work on in class. I also recently started taking tap with Maria. She's super great with beginners. Sometimes BYS hosts themed social dance parties. I really enjoyed their Halloween and Valentines Day salsa and bachata party! The studio offers amazing classes and hosts a great, warm and welcoming community. I can't wait til they open the new studio in Marina Del Rey.

AMAZING Studio & Teachers at By your Side Dance Studio!!

My husband and I were in desperate need of dance lessons for our first dance, and luckily we found this studio. Rene was the most wonderful teacher, with so much patience and poise. He helped develop a custom dance for us that fit our style, comfort level.. even down to the outfits/shoes we were wearing for the big day. Every step was mindfully planned to work for us and we could not be more thankful for the lovely experience we had there.

We hired Guillermo to teach our daughter's court of honor (16 people) a few dances including waltz and hip hop and he was awesome. He had a lot of patience to work with a group of 11-30 year olds. He was firm but also made it very enjoyable.

We highly recommend By Your Side and especially Guillermo.

If they can teach me how to Tap, they can teach ANYBODY !
I walked in with two left feet (which wasn't easy) and already I'm beginning to look like a Pro. Move over Fred Astaire !
I love the place. The teachers are excellent and the studio is beautiful.
Who knew you could have so much fun and lose some weight at the same time !
